The Grand Canal Table is a table based on the Grand Canal area and specifically the facade of the Bord Gas Energy Theatre and the water basin it looks over.

The table is made or two structures connected via rails which are supported by slats which fall at compounding angles. The top rails of the
structures are connected with floating butterfly joints. The table is made of walnut and flamed beech with a glass top.
